OFFICER REPORTS

President:
NTR

VP:
Retreat is in two weeks, Big/Little is in three weeks, I-Week is the weekend before Thanksgiving break.

Secretary:
According to the minimum expectations document, we need to review the Active Brother Status of the following members:
Ty Harris - Stays as an active member

Treasurer:
The second payment of dues is due today.

Risk Management:
Group learning tonight at 8 or 30 minutes after dinner. It is not required.

New Member Educator:
Goetz: First quiz is this week, starting code of ethics.

Academics:
Since it is the beginning of a new academic month, I will be messaging everyone this week to check in with them on academics. Please reply to that message, and that will satisfy your requirement. If you would like to meet in person, that is absolutely fine, so just reply to my message letting me know, and we can find a time that works. I am doing the messaging system because for most people an actual meeting is more inconvenient than helpful, and others have responded quite well to this. Please do not hesitate to request an in-person meeting. I have more than enough time to fulfill that request.

Social:
Absent

Philanthropy:
Philanthropy cutoff was 5 days ago, please get your hours. Now I am going to design chapter events starting last week of October. Please have two of your hours by the end of I-Week so you don’t have a lot left to get your hours. The end of I-week is the Sunday before Thanksgiving break.

House Manager:
Vikas cleaned a bathroom he didn’t have to clean.
Going to try to fix the seal on the fridge.
Need to tell Fouts that the elevator is broken.

House Director:
Absent

Pledge Class President:
Nothing to report

Athletics Chair:
Sports

T-Shirt Chair:
We are going to go with Hull’s design. I will post it in Official.
Need to have two more votes on Festival shirt and then we will order them.

Historian:
Think I changed files to be JPEG so they can be posted places.

ASK Liaison:
Pumpkin Patch happened this weekend. The old one is gone.

Steward:
Dinner is going to the block party. Please go to that. Making Jalapeno poppers and snack food to bring over there. He told me that his friend is bringing a food truck and making burgers and tacos. He is aware of us going over there.

Pass Meeting Minutes
Philanthropy Amendment: 8 - 1 - 2
If a member of the Active Organization fails to meet their required philanthropy hours by the cutoff(s) determined by the Philanthropy Chair, they will lose their right to attend social events. The member may have this right restored by making up the hours in a manner deemed acceptable by the Philanthropy Chair.
Effect: Changes from the current system of semesterly requirements to a system where the Philanthropy chair will set cutoffs so that each member is required to have a certain number of hours at different points in the semester, so that getting hours isn’t delayed until the end of the semester.
During the special election process where we nominated and elected a new president, Exec failed to recognize a rule in the constitution that states the following in relation to Elected Officers:
Nominees shall have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 from the University of Oklahoma. Officers whose cumulative grade point average falls below this criteria shall resign and be replaced through special election.
Because this was an overlook by Exec, I am proposing that we have a vote to decide not to have a resignation and special election, and that we enforce it properly from here on out. We are requiring 3/4ths vote of the Active Chapter to overturn this rule in the constitution until the next election cycle. I will post a poll in official following the completion of meetings.

Announcements:
Hull: An update on the composite: I am literally waiting on a picture of Trevor, and then the composite will be done and I can take it to get it printed. No one seems to have to pictures from the previous composite, which is where I need to get Trevor’s picture, so if you know where those are, please help me out.

Hull: I am working on scheduling a credit/financial skills workshop with the Director of Membership Development for some time next semester.

Hull: I have been updating the website, so if you have any pictures of events that I could post, that would help me a lot. I have already made an account for the historian to make posts, but I can do that as well. The plan is to make it the official website at founders. If you would like to be involved in making it look nicer, send me your ideas. It currently looks terrible!

Maddra: Please fill out the survey in Manor Therapy. We will repost the survey

Midkiff: OU v Texas watch party next weekend at my place. It will be fun, go like the message so I can know how much food to make.

Lamb: No Cane’s this week.

Bryce for throwing a kickback: 4
