OFFICER REPORTS

President:
I believe in a dress code. You need a collared shirt, pants, jeans that are nice, etc.
We will be having guests for chapter dinner. Be nice, look good.
We should do stuff with the neighbors. Please think of real events to have.

VP:
Absent

Secretary:
Please raise your hand if you have never viewed the Google Calendar on your own device.
Also, if you miss a meeting, it is essential that you read the minutes. Everyone is supposed to, but if you miss a meeting you really need to take the extra time to read what everyone said. When officers try to communicate with the chapter and only half of the chapter is at the meeting, they are relying on everyone actually reading the minutes to get their message out. It takes like two minutes.
I will be collecting accountability reports today. I will be holding off on getting the recruitment report since we still have events left. There is no accountability announcement at this meeting because it is not “a meeting before a social event.”
Lastly, exec will be going on a retreat the weekend of the 28th of September. We will be gone from around 5 on that Friday, to around noon that Sunday. We are just going to spend some time talking about the state of the chapter, and what direction we want to take it in. Think of it as a “team building” activity if you will. This is something Br. Cooper and Br.Stocco have been wanting to do for a while for exec to get more comfortable with each other. If you have any questions regarding that, please let me know and I will be happy to answer.

Treasurer:
Please sign the contract for your dues. First payment is next Sunday.

Risk Management:
Has anyone been able to find the videos we’re supposed to watch? No. Next week I will schedule the meeting I have to do with all of you. There is a binder of stuff we have to go through.

New Member Educator:
No one texted me your home towns.

Academics:
I have sent messages to everyone in GroupMe, so please read those and respond today. I will send a reminder in Official later today. Thanks

Social:
I have sent out some messages, no responses. I will put a poll in BE later today to see when we want to do a poker night. I will buy snacks.
Alumni cookout on the 14th.

Philanthropy:
So I got ghosted by an animal shelter. Will sign us up for the pantry. If that falls through, we will do yard work for the neighbors. I am enforcing the philanthropy cutoff on October 1st. You must make up hours by then.

House Manager:
Didn’t do this very well. I need 1 day notice of missing work days.

House Director:
Slowly working on problems with the house. Should have the door fixed today. Trying to fix the dryer. Motherboard is messed up. Replacement costs $80. Brought my dog, it might be here more or not. Take him out during the day if you can.

Athletics Chair:
There are some sports ball events on the board. Sign up for one. It’ll be fun. If you think you’re bad, you’re not as bad as me. So, just do it. It’s free. It’s fun.
