President's Report
- As of this Friday (the deadline), we adopted a faculty. Dr. Apanasov is our faculty member. We're required to do two events with our faculty member, and we get paid for it. We've talked about a number of options. We've talked about doing a film night (and watching some Russian movies), possibly a dinner, and something related to math. If you have any ideas, talk to me and I'll let him know what we want.
- I have coupons for the cutting edge hair salon. I don't know why. I'll pass them around, and take some if you want them.
- I have an information sheet for the Castles Honor society. It's for juniors. That information is also being passed around.
- Most importantly, Br. Williams has tossed around the idea of changing the business meeting time. We'll talk about this during the aftermeeting, and the next meeting.
- Meeting length has been getting really bad (almost two hours). Maybe for just tonight, I'd like everybody to cut down to one announcement. I realize that's difficult, but please try and we'll see if this goes faster.

Vice-President's Report
- Aftermeeting will be at 9:30pm.
- I'll need a firm number on retreat this week. (The weekend of the 13th in October.) We'll be here Friday, away on Saturday night. We'll be driving. I'm going to take a number of hands at aftermeeting.
- Dinner on Tuesday: BMG: It'll be +8 people including the ASKs. Cooking: MAB, BMG, TNL, MBW, TRA. Cleanup: MDS2, MDM, JAM.

Secretary's Report
- I've updated the member tree to correct Br. Murphy's middle name's spelling.
- I will contact Br. Rice this week.

Treasurer's Report
- We have enough money to pay insurance.
- We also received a few days extra for paying insurance.
- We're still short for national active fee (approx $600).
- If you owe money, please pay up.

Rush Chairman's Report
- We had a good week with Rush.
- We added one more bid out, but didn't get any back in.
- Dinner is on Tuesday. Info/net night on Thursday. Please make a point to attend these last two events.
- Formal Pledging is at 6:30 pm on Sunday. The meeting will be immediately after pledging. Formal attire.

Chapter Editor's Report
- Nothing to report.

House Manager's Report
- We had a cleanup at 3:30pm. Wasn't a whole lot to be done, which makes me happy.
- Keep not messing things up.
- We'll do another work day for Friday at 3:30pm, as usual (for now).
- The weekend of the 6th of October is large trash day.

Social Chairman's Report
- I have a social calendar.
   On 09/29, there's a small party.
On 10/06, there will be a get together for OU/Texas.
   10/13 is retreat.
10/27 is the Halloween party. Theme undecided.
11/10 is Dad's day (doesn't apply to you!)
   11/18 is Local Founders.
12/01 is party #2 (Nuclear Winter Formal)
   12/10 is when finals start.
- MAB: The camping trip might be the 10th and 11th of November. It's a little late, but not that bad. We'll try to go south.

Scholarship Chairman's Report
- We had a study night on Wednesday. It went pretty well. Some people got some studying done.

Athletics Chairman's Report
- There is an intramural co-ed soccer league that will begin around the 1st of October. I'll ask if anyone is interested next Sunday.

Alumni Relations Chairman's Report
- Very nice wedding of Ms. and Mr. Carol Sharpe. It was a very nice event, and there was a good Triangle representation there.
- We may get some money from Hugh in the near future.

IFC Representative's Report
- There is a meeting next Tuesday at Sigma Nu at 4:30pm.

Philanthropy Chairman's Report
- We have a pancake breakfast. Tickets are $4 in advance, or $5 at the door. It's September 29th at the Tri Delt house. You can buy tickets from them. If anyone thinks they can eat enough, there's a pancake eating contest. It's done as a group.
- We have a Pre-Dally Rally before OU/Texas. It's a volleyball tournament from 5-7pm. It's on Wednesday, October 3rd. It's $25 for the group.
- Dance Marathon is forming an executive committee. Applications are in Room 370 in the Union. The deadline is September 31st.
- Adopt-An-Area tonight after the meeting.

- MBW: I have an author script due to be sent out before Friday.
- MPA: I need to thresh the winter wheat.
- All Rushees: Get your bids in by Thursday!

- Did not meet this week. Some of our executives didn't show up.
- We'll keep it at 6pm on Tuesday. We'll talk about other times at the meeting.

Rush Committee Report
- Extended a bid to Darryn and Adriane.
- I'd like to have another one on Tuesday.

Old Business
- No old business.

New Business
- No new business.

Action Item List
MBW: Tell me who's coming on retreat. I also need to solidify the number of cabins at the park.

Br. Powell
- The moment of silence for the WTC disaster was during my class. It was during my Latin class, so my teacher sent us to stand by the fountain by the south oval. I had a lot to be thankful for, since my Mom just got out of surgery.

Br. Garner
- Free cable TV kicks ass. But hijackers suck ass.

Br. Aldridge
- The world is a f-up'ed place.

Br. Rogers
- I think this will sum up my week: Tuesday was my birthday.

Br. Branson
- Saw Cake in concert. Thanks to Br. Bryant for getting me there.

Br. Lewis
- The giant awakens.

Br. Siard
- Br. Carl Maglin has offered to buy me a ticket to Sweden.

Br. Williams
- My birthday was a national day of mourning. But I was a member of the Millionaires Dancing Money group.

Br. Meizlish
- This week was extremely harsh. My family is okay. It's crazy back there.
- My bright spot is when Br. Aldridge introduced me to some music.

Br. Scott
- I hope next week is a better week.

Br. McCann
- Brett has some really hot friends from high school.

Br. Kirkpatrick
- While the chimes were going off on Friday, the plane that flew over was quite interesting.

Br. Gilland
- My best friend Brian came into town, and we had a good time. Now, I need sleep.

Br. Thomas
- Apparently, you must put water in flower pots for flowers to flourish.

Br. Martin
- Ugggh, no.

Br. Abernethy
- On Thursday, I took part in that SES thing -- the City of Norman does science experiments after school. Hung out with the kids at McKinley. Do it if you get the chance.

Br. Cantu
- Given the past history of a couple of guests of my party last night, it was disappointing that certain members did not get naked.

Br. Murphy
- Friday through Sunday were good.

Br. Brumbaugh
- Got cat.

Pl. Hafner
- I have an old desktop computer if anyone wants it. Talk to me after the meeting.

Pl. Collie
- On Tuesday, I dropped two physics classes. I'm happy.

Rushee Cory Ulmer
- I still have my cough. Apparently, my buddies have decided to adjust to the cold, not get better from it.

Rushee Dan Pounder
- This week, I attended some of the Triangle events -- chem review, and movie night. I got a 100% on the chem test. I'm interested in becoming a part of this group.

MAB: A moment of silence for the Br. from CSU who was in the WTC on Tuesday, and hasn't been heard from.

Final Announcement
- Goes to Pledge Collie, for increasing our membership by one.
