- IFC Convocation is on Tuesday at 8pm. We're supposed to have 90% of our fall pledge class there. I'll call and tell them we don't have a pledge class yet. Br. Brumbaugh and Gilland offered to take Andy.
- Junior IFC starts on Tuesday, September 11. I'll talk to the guys in the new pledge class and see if we can get them to this event.
- If I gave you a form for Triangle Nationals, I need these back by this evening. You know who you are.

Treasurer's Report
- Bills are out. Pay up. We have insurance due at the middle of this month, and we don't have enough to cover it.
- For all of you who pay by semester, it'll be $370 for out-of-house, or $430 for in-house people.
- The first bill is larger than normal, since it includes the national active fee dues.
- Right now, we have $95 in the account, and lots of bills coming due.
- If you owe big, pay big.
- Sorry for the format the bills are in. I will get my big printer soon.

- I expect people to be at the rush events this week.

Chapter Editor's Report
- The Event Horizon is at the printer. However, they had to order paper.
- It should be done by Tuesday evening or Wednesday afternoon.
- We'll then have a big sticker/sort fest.

House Manager's Report
- Work day this Friday at 3:30pm.

Social Chairman's Report
- I need a copy of the social calendar from MAB by email.
- We're still on our rush schedule.
- On the composite: we sent the proof copy in August 11, and we should get the composite some time in November. We won't use this corporation again.

Scholarship Chairman's Report
- I'll reserve the room in honors for the chem review session.

Athletics Chairman's Report
- I don't have a calendar yet, but I don't see anything pressing coming up.

- No meeting last week.
- No report.
- MAB: I have a schedule of when the meetings are.

Philanthropy Chairman's Report
- MAB: Br. Siard mentioned the possibility of working with the OU opera in set construction. It seems to be something we're interested in. I'm going to recommend Thursday night. I think our insurance would cover participation in this. It'll probably be a one time event, after rush.
- MAB: Adopt-an-area starts next week. They also took our sign down.

Alpha Sigma Kappa Liaison's Report
- MAB: I was asked about doing a science experiment at McKinley. They're going to bring that to me sometime this week. It'll be sometime in the afternoon.

Br. Powell
- If you haven't noticed, the front lawn was partially trenched over the weekend. We have the cable half buried out front. I officially hate bermuda grass.
- I think I've memorized the endings for the first declension of nouns in Latin.
- Shakespeare in the park was extremely interesting. The best part was hanging out with some of the guys and girls. "Much ado about nothing" was so-so. I think this play most symbolizes Triangle, though.

Br. Garner
- I heard Tool is going to be coming to OKC. If anyone's interested, I plan on going.
- It's been two weeks and I haven't missed a class yet.
- I think resume drops starts this Tuesday. If you're looking for an internship, this is a good place to start.

Br. Aldridge
- Capstone continues to be fun. The next thing my on agenda is the scientific method.
- Thanks to MAB for jell-o on Friday.
- My catch phrase for the week was "Don't count your chickens before you sign your Form A's."

Br. Rogers
- I have cookies over there. I finally decided to test my baking skills. If you've eaten one, and it's alright, be glad.
- I had a gig in Tulsa yesterday. We got back around 2:00 this morning. I have another one coming up this week. I got paid in cash (all in $1s, though). I got a fat wad of $1s.

Br. Branson
- Jell-o fest II was a big success on Friday. Thanks to Pyrex for getting movies.
- I did my first software engineering project. My time estimate was accurate to one minute.
- My motto is: "will cook for food." So, if anyone is interested in giving me food, I'll cook it.

Br. Lewis
- TNL extends a gesture of friendship.

Br. Siard
- "Much ado about nothing" wasn't great. But for $5, it wasn't bad. And it was an entertaining evening.
- I'm going to enjoy Opera Chorus.
- I'm glad I'm out of the hideous section of Tech Writing. Now, I only stare at the screen.

Br. Meizlish
- This week has been hellish.
- On Thursday, my parents screwed me out of $600. I had to scramble to find rent, and might not have enough.
- Not doing too badly. I've kept up in all my classes. I understand physics. I took off work to get help, and got it.

Br. Scott
- I will be in San Jose in two weeks.

Br. McCann
- Wheeee.

Br. Kirkpatrick
- Last week was a drunken mess. It was good, though.
- It's been two weeks. I have 13 hours, and 7 of those are the best two courses I'll get to take. Those are dynamics II and synoptic meteorology lab.

Br. Gilland
- My planner workshop on Wednesday was absolutely wonderful. I've been converted. Franklin did an impressive program.
- Bowling on Thursday was wonderful. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
- I went to a football game on Friday night, and watched Yukon break a 13 game losing streak.
- The rush event on Saturday was interesting, since Darryn was the only one here.
- I then went to family camp, which was hokey.
- When I got back, I found 250 emails on my hotmail account. About a 1/3 that counted were national list argument about spam.
- The football game on Saturday looked nice. Hybl looks like he's starting to trust his offensive line, and throwing downfield.
- From last week: A quote from the Friday night movies. "That's the light beer room. There's lots of sex in the light beer room." We're also planning a movie night with Kiki. This may have to wait until after rush. MAB: (She may have given him a fake number)

Br. Thomas
- The most notable thing this week was that my father's border collie had 7 puppies. TNL: "And they all look like you?"

Br. Abernethy
- Tetris is an amazing waste of time.

Br. Cantu
- I'm out of tech writing. I moved over to the decent section. Remind me to insert my tech writing book in a ... certain location.
- I got financially raped by mail this week. I think I owe about $6000, and my income is variable.
- I enjoyed myself the last two nights. Lets see if I can make another one.
- And today is my 22nd birthday. I'm making up for my flawed 21st, when my parents paid me a surprise visit.

Br. Murphy
- I dropped by 1000 level history class, because it was too much about note cards, and not enough about information. I'm taking a spot in the Opera to replace it.

Br. Brumbaugh
- Mmmmmppppbbbb. (and a non-committal shrug)

Final Announcement
- Goes to Andy for becoming the first member of our pledge class.
