Minutes - 11/14/2010

President's Report:
Yesterday, the annual meeting of the Oklahoma Chapter was held, and the updated constitution was passed. Also, Founder's Day Banquet. Committees, look over the info I emailed out, containing a lot of resources to help you.

Vice-President's Report:
We had Brotherhood committee meeting on Monday, and we discussed what events we should have. We decided we should have small brothers-only events once a month or so. We will also keep track of people's schedules, so we know when people are and aren't available.

Treasurer:
Everyone pay their dues. Please. It's very helpful.

Secretary:

Recruitment Chair:
Rush committee met on Thursday, and we discussed what we should do for rush, and what Triangle represents to us and how it can help people. We decided we should participate in formal rush next semester.

Scholarship Chair:
For our meeting, we discussed how to improve overall chapter GPA, as well as how to make the manor more conducive to studying. We looked over the Perdue Chapter's suggestions on a points system, and we may be implementing parts of that next semester. We'll also have some workshops to help studying.

House Manager:
Work day went well. Had to clean up a lot of mouse poop, but at least now the pantry is clean.
As for the committee, really good meeting. We're planning to fix a few things, get stuff clean. We're thinking we should get some artwork on the second and third floors; if you have any ideas, send them to me.

Steward:
Dinner this week will be Breakfast for Dinner, so come eat it off of our brand new plates and cups.

House Director [same person as Steward]:
I have not moved in yet.

Appointed Officers:
Philanthropy Chair: ASK was planning to have some philanthopies soon, one for an animal shelter and one for Salvation Army. They want to know if Triangle will join up with them.

ASK Liason: We'll be having officer elections in a week, and we're planning on having some events in the next few weeks, some of which we'd like to co-op with you. Oh, and thank you for inviting us to Banquet yesterday.

Programming Committee:
We didn't have a meeting, because nobody heard from Br. Hignite until late this week.

Old Business:
I'd rather not discuss point system right now, as this meeting is dragging on, so let's just go to Officer Nominations.
