President's Report
- As a reminder, the 22nd of September is dinner with Dr. Grady. This will be at 5pm on the Saturday two weeks from yesterday. We had a count for 16 people to show up at dinner that day.
- Also on September 22nd, Delta Gamma will be holding Anchor Splash. It'll be from 12pm to 4pm in the afternoon. Hopefully it'll be less cold. It's $100 for a team, and we'd need 8 people. It'll be fun; you can embarrass yourself in front of sorority girls. I don't think we have enough interest to do it.
- The first weekend in November (the 3rd and 4th), I'm organizing a camping trip. Anyone is welcome to come. I don't know where we're going, but I'll get more information to you later. This will be three weeks after retreat.
- There will be a session called "Can you relate?" It's being held by two people who were asked by the governer to reduce the divorce rate in Oklahoma. If you'd like to attend a relationship seminar, I have fliers.
- I have a flier about services from Career Services. If you're interested, check this out. Somebody, please put up the career fair dates on the calendar. The engineering career fair is on the 20th. (Anybody can go at any time this year.)
- Do we want to participate in homecoming? Br. Gilland expressed interest. He also says the Zeta Beta Tau's would work with us on this.
- The Kappa Kappa Gamma "Kappa Classic" is also coming up on the 22nd. It's $400 to enter this golf tournament. Anybody interested? Look at this flier.
- The executive director, Paul Lawson, is coming on October 9th and 10th. He'll be flying in on Tuesday morning. RZC will be picking him up at the airport; if you can recognize him, please go along. He'll be doing Tuesday night dinner with us, and another activity on Wednesday night (the 10th).

Vice-President's Report
- Retreat is coming up on October 13th (that weekend). It'll probably be an outdoor type thing. If anyone objects to that, contact me.
- Dinner on Tuesday. Cooking: MAB, MBW, KLR. Cleanup: JDP, SCS, JAT, TDM
- Suggestions for aftermeeting time? 9:30pm it is.

Secretary's Report
- I'm going to be gone for the business meeting next Sunday. I might miss the aftermeeting, if my plane is late.
- I'll attempt to contact Br. Rice again regarding the website.

Treasurer's Report
- By the end of this week, we will need a lot of money. Insurance, national active fees, and other bills will come due.
- Please, please pay your bills.
- National Merit checks should be in on Wednesday.

Rush Chairman's Report
- We have had one bid accepted, and five bids outstanding. One bid is not out yet, but will go out soon.
- For the next week, we have a dinner on Tuesday, chem review on Wednesday, and a movie day on Friday.
- We had a slight problem on Friday. If you aren't going to be here, and you have a responsibility, tell me beforehand.
- The fliers for chem review will be in your boxes tonight.
- I will want a rush meeting on Tuesday.
- Tuesday night was wonderful, we sent out many bids. Friday turned into movie night because of the rain.

Chapter Editor's Report
- It's printed, it's out, and it's going to get mailed. It is mailed. Yeah.
- The only person who needs to be bothered is a certain person who went to convention. (looks in Br. Wheatley's direction)

House Manager's Report
- We got a bunch of free stuff. This stuff is coming from my aunt.
    - We got four new rush chairs, in various colors.
    - We also got a matching set of dishes, that haven't been delivered yet.
- Another house workday will be on Friday at 3:30pm. Start showing up then.

Social Chairman's Report
- Can you (MAB) mail me the calendar again? MAB: I'll try sending it again.
- We're still on the rush schedule, so everything is good.

Scholarship Chairman's Report
- Wednesday, I went to pick up the key for chem review.
- I will need people who know chemistry to help out. We graduated all our chem e's! MAB: ASK is chem-o-liscous!

Athletics Chairman's Report
- TRA: We are doing indoor soccer starting on October 14th. Games will be on Sundays. It's $10 for the uniform and shin guards (required). It'll go for 8 games. It'll be the same place as last time.

Alumni Relations Chairman's Report
- Br. Watson's wedding will be Saturday, the 15th, in Dallas. See the email from the announce list. Everyone who got it was invited. It's at 6pm in Bear Creek park. If you need directions, a formal invitation is at the Manor.

IFC Representative's Report
- Br. Aldridge is now our IFC rep.
- They had someone come in and ask for participation in the ring ceremony.
- CAC (Campus Activities Council) came in, and asked for involvement.
- James doesn't want us to call him anonymously to complain about parties.
- They will be changing the meeting time. We may have to change our IFC rep again.

Philanthropy Chairman's Report
- Adopt-An-Area starts this week. They took our sign down. Go by the Ms. Haffaway's office and ask where our sign us. She's in the department of volunteer services. Let's do this right after the meeting.

Alpha Sigma Kappa Liaison's Report
- Other than the whole Wednesday thing (chem review), there's not a whole lot going on.
- We still owe them money from a year ago. SCS will try to pay them back after some deposits are made.
- MDM: We may want to begin planning the ASK dinner now. BMG: They will do desert, and we will do dinner.
- MAB: If you (KLR) can speak to ASK, ask them about the "doing experiments with kids at McKinley" flier.

Historian's Report
- There are pictures in the photo albums now. There aren't any labels, but we do have pictures. More than two!
- I'm still working on the board in Carson.

Public Relations Chairman
- Nothing in particular this week. Recharging.

Reaper Report
- I reminded the one person of the stuff I was supposed to remind them of.
- I couldn't decode somebody else's reminder, so I didn't do that.

Executive Committee Report
- We met on Tuesday at 6:30pm. We talked about retreat, camping, and how poor we are.
- We'll meet again at 6:00pm on Tuesday.

Rush Committee Report
- We decided to bid five people, and talk about the rest.

Old Business
- No old business.

New Business
- No new business.

Action Item List
RZC: Plane reservations.
KLR: Figure out where I'm going for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Announcements

Br. Wheatley
- I spent last week going around Washington DC with Br. Stocco and Forsythe. My hip still hurts from carrying my backpack around. I lost my laptop on the subways, and got it back two hours later.
- For those who want to go for Nic's wedding, I'll have some space in the car. I may or may not come right back up.
- I moved upstairs (from the basement). For the first time in the 9 years of my career, I now have a window.

Br. Grady
- JMG, haven't you graduated yet?
- I will be going down to Nic's wedding with the family next week. I expect to see you all there.
- This is my first meeting from getting back from Germany. I don't know if I understand it, since everyone is speaking English. I hope to talk to all of you.
- It's good to be back.

Br. Forsythe
- I'm in the Event Horizon. I have the long Triangle Brief. In contrary to what it says, I don't live in a giant shuttle.
- I spent Labor Day weekend in DC. I've had my voice back since Tuesday, after screaming for the world cup.
- I'd be happy to tell lots of stories from ancient days.

Br. Powell
- I should graduate if I pass my wonderful Latin classes, which I have a test in on Monday.
- I renewed my habit of posting blue sheets on the Triangle board. There are a couple of interesting musical events going on.
- I went to see Shrek at Mecham on Friday. The sound system was bad, and the 35mm copy was really horrible.
- I'm president of the Norman UNIX Liberation League. I'm holding my last meeting on Tuesday. From 3pm to 5pm, I'll be at the table in the Union. MAB: You are going to put out a banner that says "Linux saves, right?" JDP: No, but I do have this sign -- "Linux is the way."
- I have a database management class with a prof who was in Germany last week, but she decided to hold class anyway by sending us a tape. It wasn't compatible with VHS, so they put it on the CS website. And 15 minutes before it ends, the sound goes out.

Br. Garner
- The CoE said I could graduate this December. (to much applause) As long as I pass two of my classes this year. They're easy.
- I got my guitar from the pawn shop yesterday.
- It's been a good week.
- Tool. October 23rd. Go!

Br. Aldridge
- I have developed a new philosophy: drop philosophy!
- Thanks to JCK for an interesting evening last night.
- Class just gets more and more inane with each passing day.
- I have cake in the kitchen for people having birthdays this week.

Br. Rogers
- My gig yesterday in the city was fun. I got paid more for this one than for driving to Tulsa last week, but it still wasn't much.
- Thank god I'm an engineering major. And married to someone who will make more than I will.
- If I wanted to, I could graduate in December if I pass two of my classes.
- Piano lessons are going well. That's fun.
- Richard III sucks.

Br. Branson
- It's been a good week.
- Went to see Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail, which was spectacular. 24 more seconds of footage with "Castle Anthrax."
- Got to meet Br. Abernethy's parents, which was interesting.
- For next weekend, I don't know when the Cake concert is. I'll call sometime this week, and will let you know via email.

Br. Lewis
- I had a long week.
- This week will be about as long.
- I think Shona has about a week left until we have another little evil one running around.

Br. Siard
- It's been an unpleasant weekend. I'll be glad to go back to school and have fun again.
- If you're interested in season tickets for the University theater, I'm going tomorrow morning. Meet at the union around 9:30am with people who want tickets, and we'll go over.
- I've determined that Capstone really means a 0-thousand level class, one that you should have taken before your freshman year.

Br. Williams
- I had a good week.
- Classes have stabilized to the point where I can tolerate them.
- My apartment is finally moved in and happy now. I got to open my windows today.

Br. Meizlish
- Epiphanies in all 3 of my classes. I'm doing awesome in all of them now. I'm keeping up with physics.
- The keys of knowledge are mine. I rule.
- Someone I was attempting to date left town. She's disappeared.

Br. Scott
- I won't  be here next week. Think of my on Friday while you're in class, and I'm at Dave and Busters.

Br. McCann
- Monty Python was definitely a lot of fun.
- My software engineering class is starting to resemble an English class. Whatever answer is wrong, because you interpreted the question incorrectly.

Br. Kirkpatrick
- The search for a graduate school and lots of money continues.
- This had to be one of the pretties days I've seen in Norman in a while. This means an icestorm is coming in a month.

Br. Gilland
- The Event Horizon is the newsletter put out on a regular basis. JCK: It's a newsletter period. BMG: There are several copies of the latest edition in the dining area. They're pretty interesting.
- Friday I went shopping with TDM and others. I played dress up with them.
- Friday evening, we went to the rec room. Had a really good time, and had an interesting evening. Someone called me bright and early in the morning the next day. Well, it was noonish at least.
- Saturday I went to a friend's wedding. They did a hand binding ceremony, which was gorgeous. JMG was an usher.
- Later Saturday, Andy and I went to my house and watched football from 7pm to midnight.
- I got up the next day and went to church.
- My best friend Brian will be coming into town from Denver next weekend. I hope you get a chance to meet him. He's a wonderful guy.

Br. Thomas
- I found these wonderful things called washing machines with a waterfall in them. I thought that was really cool.
- Next. (to much laughter)

Br. Martin
- This week sucked.
- I fell asleep just in time to wake up for the meeting.
- For answering 325-INFO, some guy called and said "internet explorer had operated illegally." He thought they were sending the cops after him.

Br. Abernethy
- Monty Python was a lot of fun.
- My car didn't explode on the way down, which made for a much more enjoyable weekend.
- It wasn't all college students. There were a lot of older people there. Like, older than George (over 40)! It was amusing.
- I hate lab reports.

Br. Cantu
- Interesting story with a weedwacker and everything...
- I'm finding out way to late that college is just not for me. All my classes have exponentially risen into new levels of BS.
- Anybody who's mildly interested in the CS network -- don't bother.

Br. Murphy
- I got to have lunch with my girlfriend on Saturday, and I was happy about that.
- Monty Python was really great. It was widescreen, and everybody laughed before the jokes started.
- After we got our tickets, we stopped at the bookstore next door. I picked up one called "The Book of Vices", a literary introduction to your favorite deadly sins.

Br. Brumbaugh
- Non-committal shrug.

Pl. Hafner
- Last week I slept through Chemistry every day I went. (applause; Dr. Grady expresses disgust)
- I went over to meet Brett's parents this weekend, and had fun.

Rushee Cory Ulmer
- I got sick on Thursday, and I'm still a little sick.
- I played video games all week. It was fun.

Rushee Dan Reif
- I got introduced on Friday to Counter Strike, which was fun.
- I'm gassed that nobody mentioned we don't have divine intervention on our sink. It's photographic proof.
- I haven't gone to Chemistry class since the first one.

Rushee Nathan Anderson
- Ummm. Umm....

Rushee Darryn Collie
- This is my third year as a rushee. I've been told that, one way or another, this better be my last.
- Last Friday night, I went to the rec room. First time ever in a club. Very good experience.
- So far this year, I'm still working on physics. Still haven't learning anything yet. Had a heard to heart with a professor, and decided to drop a couple classes.

Rushee Adriane Russell
- I went to the rec, danced.
- I play the saxophone and flute.

Final Announcement
- Goes to Br. Powell for the Apple Pie.
