President's Report
- I'm sorry I wasn't at the meeting last week. The timing was off.
- Br. Williams, here's your membership card. You now have a national bond number.
- I will start working on getting Dr. Das' to him. I think I can get his new address off the University's website.
- Group pictures are being taken right now. I'm going to try to schedule them for some Tuesday after dinner.
- This Tuesday, Dr. Apanasov will be coming over and making beef stroganoff. I'll call him tomorrow and see who's buying the supplies. We'll then be having a discussion of civil freedoms afterwards. This will be from the perspective of someone who lived in Russia during the cold war.
- Engineering Open House is on Friday. E-Club invites a bunch of high school seniors up to do engineering projects, see the campus, etc. Each year, we run a competition for designing a rubber band powered car.
    - We'll be doing this from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
    - This year, we'll have to buy our own materials. I'll need somebody to assist me on getting our stuff on Thursday. I will need people to sign up to work -- two people per time slot.
    - I'll pass the signup sheet around.
    - Does anyone have access to a balance? No. I'll talk to the Open House committee.
    - I assume we'll have the event somewhere in Carson. Hopefully they'll let us know before Friday.
