- In late July, I attended the Botanical Society of America convention
-- Viewed an interesting presentation on plants from a one armed Syrian
- Made contact with a professor from University of Michigan

- I spent most of my summer playing with baby birds and getting paid for it
- Maid of honor for friend since middle school
- This year is going pretty well as far as classes are going
- Brett and I broke up some weeks ago
- Still feels ok with decision to feed only some of the baby birds
- A baby sparrow died under my bike the same day a baby bird died at my work
