President's Report
- I was a delegate to convention. The scholarship cup has returned to the Oklahoma chapter, since to our 3.41 GPA last semester. We also got our annual check for having above a 3.0, and having the highest GPA on campus. This will help is pay insurance.
- As for convention, we discussed 17 pieces of legislation. Most of it went out.
The bill to remove date dependent wording passed. Br. Mercer's definition of changing the Triangle colors passed.
The bill to initiate postiously passed, amended to be merly to be at discretion of national council.
The bill to make ritual and graduation ceremony public failed.
The change to requirements for national officers was amended, and passed.
The bill to increase the GPA requirement failed.
The bill to prohibit the bulk purchase of alcohol failed, twice.
The bill for modifying the procedure for electing national officers failed.
The bill for removing the wording on stationary was removed, and changed.
The bill to remove a reference to the education foundation from the constitution passed.
A motion was made to add an undergraduate member to national council. That was referred to committee.
A motion was made to add a section on risk management and the impact of alcohol on physiology to the pledge education syllabus.
A motion was made to change the minimum pledge education period to 45 days. We voted for this, and it passed.
- Another note from convention: We managed to make some serious cash from t-shirt sales. These were from the Festival of Sin and Mostly Harmless parties.
- Final note from convention: At the St. Louis science center, the coolest exhibit involves dropping pebbles into a series of hexagons, and they bounce off a point and fall into a bell curve.
- As President, I decree we'll meet at the Manor for the rest of the semester. The alumni have removed their restrictions on using the Manor for business meetings.
- Officer positions: two appointed positions are open. The Public Relations chair, and the Alumni relations chair are up for assignment. Br. Murphy will head up Alumni relations, and Br. Siard will be the Public Relations officer.
- I need the addresses from the officers, especially from the executive council members. We need to get National to stop sending mail to the Apache house.
- Our composite is NOT hanging on the wall. Our proof came in late July or early August, which is 3 months overdue. We will probably not go with them again next year. Hopefully we'll get the composite by October.
- Is anyone interested in taking IFC representative? I think they meet at 4:00 pm on Tuesdays; they may change that this year. I'll keep this open for the next meeting.
- My room is on the second floor, room 206. I have an open door policy. If you need anything, I'll be here a lot of the time. If the door is closed, please knock.
- I will be asking the secretary, treasurer, VP, and rush chair about forms for the beginning of the semester. They need to be mailed in by the meeting after next.
- I emailed Br. Ycedo, and he's no longer interested in expelling. He'll remain an alumni member of the chapter.
- I would like to form a commitee to revise the constitution. Br. Kirkpatrick, I'd like you to chair that. MAB, MDM, MDS, SCS, TNL are interested in participating.

Vice-President's Report
- The first aftermeeting will start next week. If you have any issues, email me during the week. Don't point-blank me on Sunday.
- If you have any ideas for group activities, please send those in (for retreat).
- Br. Kirkpatrick is this semester's Pledge Educator.
- We will do two dinners during rush. I'm taking volunteers for this Tuesday. Br. Branson is nominated to cook (spaghetti and mustard!), with Br. Abernethy helping. Br. Powell and Siard on cleanup.

Rush Chairman's Report
- We may have rushees headed this way. Unfortunately, the directions were wrong for formal.
- Rush this summer is going well. We had several contacts due to mailings. This makes me quite proud.

- On Monday, at 7PM, there is a rush clinic. There will be some brief presentations and talking. Please be here.
- Tuesday night is dormstorming and dinner. I also intend to leave a group of people here while we storm.

- If you have free time, hang out here (on Wednesday night, and whenever).
- We have a games night next Monday.
- I'll send a schedule around now, and will email it out later tonight.
- I ran into the Zeta Beta Tau rush chair this afternoon. He said they don't pledge people, they initiate men after they bid them. They also wanted us to send any non-engineers their way.
